YorkShield 106 PT Installation Instructions Copper Termite Shield

1. Install membrane on a clean, dry, and smooth substrate.
2. Install the YorkShield 106 PT on top of a compatible sealant and hand pat with firm pressure to ensure uniform contact with the substrate.
3. The edge of the flashing should extend a minimum of 2” beyond the foundation and bent to a downward 45° angle.
4. Splice joints by overlapping the membrane a minimum of six inches in 2 beads of sealant, and seal the edge with a compatible sealant.
5. Install YorkShield 106 PT between the foundation and the sill plate with the copper facing up (if this product will come in contact with the post anchor bracket, the polymer side should face up to act as an isolation barrier).
6. Seal all protrusions with compatible sealant, mastic, or caulk.
